The thickest grade in the range, PU-UF30, is a 3,0 mm transparent polyether Poly Urethane sheet by Filcoflex B.V. It suits parts that have to withstand high mechanical loads, impact and intensive abrasion, without losing the flexibility and hygiene benefits of TPU.
Even at this thickness the material has no memory, so it absorbs repeated movement without stress cracking. The high-gloss, non-porous surface resists contamination and product build-up, and it can be cleaned with CIP systems. That makes PU-UF30 suitable for demanding hygienic environments.
Long service life comes from its excellent resistance to wear, chemicals and aging. Like all PU-UF grades, it is thermoplastic and weldable, so custom shapes and seamless constructions are possible. Reinforcement rings, grounding/earthing and NFC/RFID tags can be integrated on request. Its transparency keeps the process visible for inspection and safety.

ATEX and explosion safety
No individual electrostatic test has been carried out on PU-UF30. Because it is made from the same Poly Urethane as PU-UF03, PU-UF1 and PU-UF15, differing only in thickness, the PU-UF15 test results serve as the worst-case scenario. The ATEX restrictions in the table below are therefore also valid for PU-UF30.

Pressure resistance for flexible connectors
All pressure values in the specifications table apply at temperatures up to 90 °C / 194 °FF. Under pressure or vacuum, a sleeve may bulge or contract. Filcoflex can add reinforcement rings to limit this.
For higher pressures, higher vacuum or longer connectors, we are happy to advise.
Weighing applications
PU-UF30 can be used for high-volume and high-weight weighing and dosing where the required accuracy is above 1 kg. For accuracies below 1 kg, Filcoflex offers dedicated weighing flexible connections, including silicone bellows, Poly Urethane bellows, PU-UF03 sleeves and PTFE 310 fabric.
