Looking for a durable, hygienic TPU film just under 1 mm? PU-UF09 is a 0,9 mm high-gloss, transparent polyether-based Poly Urethane developed by Filcoflex B.V. for flexible connectors, sleeves and bellows in demanding process environments.
Its main strength is flex-fatigue resistance. The material has no memory, so repeated bending does not cause fractures. The closed, smooth surface keeps residues from sticking, which simplifies manual cleaning and CIP processes in food, dairy, pharma and chemical plants.

ATEX and explosion safety
PU-UF09 has not yet been tested individually for its electrostatic behaviour. As it shares the exact same Poly Urethane composition with PU-UF03, PU-UF1 and PU-UF15, the PU-UF03 results can be considered the worst case for this thickness. The ATEX restrictions shown in the table below are therefore also valid for PU-UF09.

Pressure resistance for flexible connectors
The pressures listed in the specifications table apply at temperatures up to 60 °C / 140 °F and may cause the sleeve to expand or contract. To reduce this, Filcoflex can fit reinforcement rings.

Weighing applications
For weighing and dosing in high-volume, high-weight and high-capacity applications with a required accuracy below 1 kg, PU-UF09 is a suitable choice. If your process demands an accuracy below 0,5 kg, contact Filcoflex about weighing flexible connections like silicone bellows, Poly Urethane bellows, PU-UF03 sleeves or PTFE 310 fabric.
