FSC is a flexible connection equipped with a seamed in Jacob coupling and assembled without a gasket for applications with strict standards.
Filcoflex FSC is a 100% airtight and leakproof flexible connector that works seamlessly with your modular Jacob pipework system. Because there is no need for any gasket ring on the flange, there are less transitions or seams where the FSC connects to the ducting or machine flange.
This simpler design facilitates smooth product flow and significantly reduces the risk of leakage. FSC is one of our most popular and highly customizable flexible connections.

Magnets, Sensors, and Switches
The flanges of the flexible allows addition of brackets to mount electromagnets, sensors or proximity switches that improve safety.
This for the safety purpose to detect if there is a flexible mounted. Also, when the clamp is disassembled electromagnets can keep the flexible in place to prevent leaks or to guard operators from mechanical moving parts that are dangerous. Machines can be switched off when the right electronic precautions are made.
Private Labelling
Tags with eyelets are a standard feature in your flexible connector. For color coding and identification purposes, you can attach zip ties, labels, and the like to the product.

Reinforcement rings
For systems that operate under slight negative pressure or vacuum, the walls of the flexible connector are naturally sucked in which causes a reduction of the area where product flows. The number of reinforcement rings depend on the length of your flexible.
Shapes and Configurations
Available custom shapes include conical, eccentric, and bellows. FSC can also be made with one unworked end or to transition from a circular/oval to rectangular piping systems. Need a special design? Contact us.
Earthing or Grounding
This ensures electrical safety and prevents damage to equipment. Because some flexible connectors are insulating, earthing may be necessary to provide a safe way for electrical fault currents to flow into the earth. This stops dangerous voltages that can cause electrocution or sparks from building up.
