FSC is a flexible connection equipped with a seamed in Jacob coupling and assembled without a gasket for applications with strict standards.

Filcoflex FSC is a 100% airtight and leakproof flexible connector that works seamlessly with your modular Jacob pipework system. Because there is no need for any gasket ring on the flange, there are less transitions or seams where the FSC connects to the ducting or machine flange. Application

Modular pipework systems

FSC is created to be incorporated with JACOB tubing systems used by major manufacturers worldwide for bulk goods transport in key industries such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and plastic. JACOB pipework systems are modular in nature and subdivides each section of the system into individual parts which makes it easy to disassemble pipes and joints as needed.
This flexible connector is compatible with other Jacob coupling accessories, such as adapter flanges, Quick Connect or Bolt Connect clamps, and gaskets. It is also interchangeable with KMH, NORO, and S&W systems.

Versatile range

To create an FSC, JACOB flanges are seamed into a flexible sheet. This sheet can be manufactured from materials such as polyurethane, PVC, and PTFE woven fabric. Additionally, FSC can be made in different shapes and material thicknesses. Because FSC is highly customizable, we can create flexible connectors for many applications, including weighing and dosing techniques, ATEX, foodstuffs, chemical, color, and metal detection.

Options

Magnets, Sensors, and Switches

Using the flanges the flexible sleeve is pressed on to, we can weld brackets where you can mount useful tools that improve safety, namely, electromagnets, sensors, proximity switches, and grounding/earthing studs.

Aside from our recommended standard flanges, we can also provide you with other options upon request. The following flanges are available:

Variations

We can manufacture FSC in different shapes and configurations such as:

Conical, Eccentric, Unparallel flange surfaces, With inner sleeve, Y piece / side branches / T piece, Bellow shape (symmetric and conical asymmetric), Reinforcement rings against vacuum and over pressure (also in grounded editions), End cap or blind cover, Spiral shaped reinforcement.

Upon request, we can also create a special FSC connector according to your specifications.

Dimensions

Jacob is interchangeable with, KMH, NORO, S&W. See sizing guide below for more information. The minimum length is 40mm; there is no maximum length.
